A position is available for an entry level Environmental Scientist or Engineer within our office in Dundalk. An academic background in environmental science, environmental engineering, hydrogeology/soil science, contaminated land, waste management, pollution control and/or water treatment is preferable. A proficiency in the use and maintenance of field environmental monitoring equipment would be an advantage. The candidate would should have a genuine desire to work in the environmental consultancy field.
An ability and enthusiasm for work in a challenging outdoor environment is essential. Proficiency in written and spoken english is mandatory. A full driver licence is required. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, etc. Basic understanding of GIS and/or Autocad Mapping software packages are an advantage. Position is for 6 months duration and is paid.
