Causeway Geotech Ltd. is looking for responsible, self-driven, hard workers to fill positions as Graduate Geotechnical Engineers, Environmental Engineers, and Engineering Geologists to assist in ground investigation contracts. Operating from our headquarters in Ballymoney and an office in Dublin, we are interested in graduate students from across the UK and Ireland. Job responsibilities include: · Assist colleagues within the Geotechnical Engineering Department with duties involved in day-to-day running of contracts · Carry out logging of soil and rock core in line with the latest standards (e.g. EC7 and BS 5930:2015) and company guidelines · Use a range of software packages (e.g. MS Office programmes, AGS data management, Project Management software, AutoCAD, etc.) · Assist with the drafting of Factual and Interpretative Ground Investigation Reports · Carry out site duties as and when required, and as instructed · Be prepared to work away from home/office for significant periods of time. · Obtain information from site and arrange forwarding of preliminary exploratory hole logs to Client/Engineer · When working on site, maintain regular contact with the Contract Manager in the Geotechnical Engineering Department. Issue logs and Daily Production Records at the end of each shift. · Assist with the drafting and issuing of health and safety documentation · Remain supportive and accommodating with company management · Be pro-active in professional and career development.
