Contract: Permanent / Full Time Salary: Negotiable Application Closing Date: 1st March 2019 Job Description David Lock Associates (DLA) is an independent town planning, urban design and masterplanning consultancy owned by a trust on behalf of its employees. We are based in Milton Keynes, but with projects across the UK and abroad. We advise landowners and developers in designing and securing planning permission, advise business and civic leaders on city visioning and work with local authorities and stakeholders on regeneration master plans. GIS has been an important part of our business for a long time and it is integral to the work we do. Our strategy over the last few years has been to further embed the technology into our core business processes and to push the boundaries of GIS. We are seeking an enthusiastic GIS graduate to join us to assist us in achieving this ambition. In this role you will support the delivery of a wide range of geospatial tasks from map production, analysis, through to data and system management for the company and its clients. These tasks are key to ensuring that projects have access to up-to-date, accurate and relevant information that can support decision-making. You will also be a keen advocate of the technology with an interest in how it can be utilised to increase the company’s GIS offering. Responsibilities
